Ch5-7 Project

You will be doing a project that combines elements of chapter 5, 6 and 7.  You need a 3dimensional shape (box) and a tape measure.

1. Measure the dimensions of your 3d solid. Make your measurements in inches instead of centimeters.
2. Draw an isometric diagram of your shape and include the measurements on your diagram.
3. Draw a net of your shape and include the measurements on your diagram.
   • BONUS: Draw your diagram to scale and say what the scale factor is.
4. Find the surface area of your shape, measured in inches².  Show all of your work (including operations with fractions)
5. Find the volume of your shape, measured in inches³.  Show all of your work (including operations with fractions)
