Ch1-3 Cumulative Review
In preparation to write your Chapter 1-3 cumulative midterm on Friday, Nov 18th, you should be reviewing your notes and doing your practice problems in the textbook. If there was a topic that you feel you did very poorly on and did not understand well, you have an opportunity to demonstrate that you understand that topic better and your mark may be adjusted.
Math 10 Ch1-3 Review Assignment
- Look over your 3 chapter tests to find a maximum of two topics that you feel you need to improve on
- For each topic do the followig:
- Describe the topic: example: "Finding the missing side in a SOHCAHTOA problem when I'm given one side and one angle"
- List questions from the tests that were examples of this type of problem: example "Ch3 test, #1, 3, on the Multiple Choice Part and 2, 5 ad 9 in the word problems"
- Make a notes summary of the topic. Pretend that you are making up notes that someone else can use to understand your topic. You will need to be complete. Do not just copy out the notes from your notebook, put them in your own words.
- Make up 2 test questions that could be used to test your topic. Do not just reword the test questions.
The good copy for your assigment is due on Friday, November 18. If you would like to get feedback on your work to date, you can have your rough copy evaluated before it is handed in.
